Had an awesome time with friends! Explored local golf spots and hit some lively pubs nearby. The staff were super helpful, letting us check in late and even providing snacks. If you need parking, consider street options available after hours.
One downside was the noise from the surrounding bars. Our first room was right above it, making it hard to sleep the first night.

I had a decent stay at The Regency in Bristol. The location was fantastic for exploring the city, making it easy to walk to many attractions. The staff, particularly at the reception, were friendly and helpful, which made a positive impact. The bed in my room felt comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. I noticed some issues too. The room itself was quite dark, not ideal when trying to get things done or relax. The noise from outside was a bit disruptive, especially at night. The shower pressure was not great—standing in a puddle of water while showering was not the best experience. The decor looked a bit tired, and the carpets definitely needed a deep clean. A little more attention to these details would improve the stay significantly.

The bathroom lights failed in our first room, but the staff quickly moved us to a quieter, more spacious one without any hassle. The charm of the historical building added to the experience.

missingWrote a review on Jul 12central locationcomfortable beddingadequate accessdated facilities
The location offers easy access to popular attractions, making it convenient for explorers. The bedding provided adequate comfort, allowing for decent rest during my stay.
The room felt quite dated, highlighted by stained carpets and a general lack of cleanliness. There were noticeable mould in the shower, and the sink had no cap, making it look neglected. I also experienced a somewhat uncomfortable mattress that lacked adequate bedding. there were no mattress protectors, which raises hygiene concerns. The common areas, including walkways and stairs, were rather dingy and not well-maintained, leaving overall impressions that could be improved. Especially given the price, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. Parking is extremely limited, making it a challenge for those driving in.

The linens were clean, and I appreciated that the location was decent enough. The first room we got initially didn't have working bathroom lights, but they moved us with no fuss to another room that was actually quieter.
It was pricey for what we experienced, but in a way, still tolerable considering everything.
